Hi, I’m Denise Sivasubramaniam, founder of Words Are Power Tutoring. I provide personalised online literacy tutoring for primary school students, with a focus on building confidence, strengthening core literacy skills, and helping each child develop a genuine love of learning.
My teaching is warm, encouraging, and tailored to the individual. Some children need support catching up, others benefit from steady guidance to stay on track, and some are ready to extend themselves further. Lessons may focus on reading comprehension, writing, spelling, vocabulary, and language conventions.
Above all, I aim to create a supportive and engaging environment where children feel safe to ask questions, take risks, and discover what they’re capable of.
